Gym Clothes. To kickstart your workouts.

This ones for all the get-fit girls out there who are probably currently in training to retain that summer hot bod. Whether that be pounding the pavements or treadmill, working up a sweat at spinning or, like me right now, following the Kayla movement with #bbg. Whatever it is I think making sure you’ve got killer workout wear makes you work harder and feel better. No one wants to turn up in their slouchy PJ top and some old sagging leggings (we’ve all been there right?!). So I’ve sorted you with my pick of the best active wear ensembles out there right now. With high street brands stepping up their game, I’ve picked pieces of a varying price, so there’s something for everyone.

(1.Adanola - £49 2. Boohoo - £14, 3. Lucas Hugh - £145 4. Olympia Activewear £75 5. Nike - £14 6. S'well -$35)

Nudes and Whites

I’m a big fan of white in my wardrobe, be that everyday wear or active wear. For a gym wardrobe I think the nude colours give a more luxe, elegant, feminine feel. Almost like the ballerina I am so far from being, but so wish I was. I think these pieces would look perfect in barre, yoga, pilates but totally not restricted to. I’d definitely do my Kayla circuits in the Adanola leggings and bra top.

(1.We are Handsome - £68 2. Ivy Park - £32 3. Sweaty Betty - £40 4. NO KA'OI - £145 5. Adidas/Stella McCartney - £55 6. Lucas Hugh - £175)

When you’re not feeling those delicate nude feminine vibes, kick start with some bright blue colours and bold patterns. NO KA’OI I’m loving at the moment, found on who do high-performance but comfy and stylish bright pieces. I’m a huge fan of the colour-block style of work out wear.

(1. Topshop - £38, 2. Net-A-Porter - £150, 3. HPE - £80, 4. NO KA'OI - £70, 5. Zara - £17.99, 6. Nike - £40)

Black and Green

We all know that sometimes getting through the gym door can be a real struggle. You want that stylish look, without the ‘look at me’ colours on those days. Don’t forget black is slimming, and isn’t that the reason we’re there anyway. So these are my favourite finds in hues of black and white and I threw in a bit of green for good measure, just incase you’re in need of a little camouflaging in the gym. These prints also go well with coloured pieces so you can jazz them up as and when needed.

Hope this has been a little inspiring and given you at least some outfit motivation if not actual gym motivation too. I think once your outfits on point at the gym, your workout will be too!
