Rockin' Robin. Cosy Christmas Jumper.
Nothing oozes christmas like festive jumpers right? I love this cute little robin jumper from fatface. Its making me feel so ready for christmas, especially after just getting back from a lovely warm holiday, which lacked the christmas feeling (not that I'm complaining... i had a holiday right!)
I've always been obsessed with ear muffs and I heard someone saying the other day she thought that she'd look so stupid in them, but I pulled them off well. Now either she's lying or she's lacking the confidence. Yes, you feel silly with two balls of fluff either side of your ear, but honestly give it 10 minutes and you forget they're there and I find them even better than a hat for warmth. Mainly because of the convenience - so much easier to move about in. And also - I haven't seen one person that looks stupid in them, they're just the cutest thing ever whatever your age.
My christmas jumper is from Fatface and I love that it's actually a really wearable one. Most christmas jumpers lack the quality that you'd expect from a regular wooly jumper, but not this one. The fit is also so nice, and not over-sized like you'll find most others on the market are. It has this cute little robin design that I love.
If you're not into ear muffs try a simple hat or even a warmer winter hat to complete the festive look.
At the end of every year I really do like to reflect – think about how I’ve found the year, what’s been good, bad, what I’d change, what I’d do all over again, how I’ve progressed and what I’ll do differently for the coming year. If this is something you like to do, I have something fun you also might enjoy. I like to write myself a little list of questions about myself, thoughts, what im up to – usually on new years eve or round about then and pop it in an envelope to open the next new years and see if anything has change and answer the questions I wanted to ask my future self. Try it!
Looking back on 2016 – I’ve realised for me it’s been a pretty awesome year. The best one for a long time. Sometimes you need a bad year to actually realise how good the next one is going to be. I’ve done a lot of travel this year to San Antonio at the beginning of the year to drop my (not so) baby brother off at university which was bitter sweet. Met my lovely boyfriend and travelled to Dublin, Monaco, Dubai and Abu Dhabi and learnt a whole lot about racing a long the way as well as how lucky I am to have met such a wonderful person. I’ve spent a lot more time with my family and realised who my true friends are and been happy with that. Some friends are not friends and that isn’t a problem. I’ve focused a lot on my blog and felt the benefits of doing so and Im feeling happy with how I’ve progressed with blog this year and hope for 2017 that will just continue.
I’m leaving 2016 feeling so happy, and I hope you all are too. But, remember, if you aren’t its not forever and who knows maybe 2017 is your year! I hope so anyway. I wish everyone a merry Christmas and let me know your plans and how your 2016 has been. Send me a message on twitter or instagram @blaisedyer .
