Why we should all own a little leopard print
You’ll hear it year after year ‘animal print – a hot trend for this season’. But you’ll notice it’s the same print and if anything changes it’s the item of clothing in question or the materials. So that’s why I believe investing in a stand out or even a staple piece, in leopard print, is a winner year after year.
Animal prints can add colour to an outfit and some excitement to your wardrobe. Ignore the Bet Lynch and leopard print combination and you’ll find it can provide the perfect statement piece with a bit of an edge. Dress it up or dress it down.
Here I’ve chosen this dress I bought from a fashion show I modeled in once upon a time and loved the cut of this dress. It’s also a silky satin feel so very in keeping with the sexy nature of leopard print. The back ties up with a big black bow (sorry for not capturing that!). I’ve paired the dress with some thigh high heeled black boots as we are heading into Autumn, I feel this is a better option than having your legs out. For a more edgy daytime look I could even wear this over a pair of black denim jeans.
So now where could you add a touch a leopard print? It could be a dress like this, or think Kate Moss and go for a leopard print shirt, paired with jeans and a beige trench. If you want to ease yourself into the trend, animal print shoes are a great place to start. There’s an abundance of leopard print trainers/slip ons, which are a fun addition to an everyday look. Try pointed heels with the print for a sexy evening look. Want to go all out? Make a statement with a leopard print coat et voila you’ve made yourself a stand out outfit with very little effort.
